Goodies was released in 2004 via LaFace and featured singles including "Goodies," "1, 2 Step," "Oh" and "And I." It sat atop Billboard's R&B/hip-hop albums chart and hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In April 2024. it was announced that Ciara would be joining Missy Elliott for her first-ever headlining tour, billed as Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience.

The "Promise" musician featured Elliott on her 2004 hit "1, 2 Step," and they reunited the following year for the rapper's 2005 hit "Lose Control" with Fatman Scoop. More recently, all three artists got back together for a remix of Ciara's 2018 single "Level Up."

The tour, which is set to hit 24 cities throughout North America this summer, will also feature Busta Rhymes and Timbaland, as well.

"This is an incredible time in my life as I am experiencing so many milestone ‘firsts.’ Being the FIRST female Hip Hop artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and now going out on my FIRST headline tour," said the "Get Ur Freak On" performer, 52, in a statement.
