AMANDLA STENBERG GOES STRAPLESS IN STRUCTURED CORSET DRESS ON ‘JIMMY FALLON,' TALKS ‘THE ACOLYTE' AND SHOWS OFF VIOLIN SKILLS

Amandla Stenberg subtly paid homage to the "Star Wars" universe and embraced the dark side of the force with a monochrome black look during her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday. The actor discussed the new "Star Wars" TV series "The Acolyte" and showed of some violin skills.

For Stenberg's late-night appearance, the actor fashioned a strapless black dress with a structured corseted bodice. The look also featured a thigh-high slit. Stenberg continued the monochrome motif by wearing black heels, as well.

As for the rest of "The Acolyte" star's look, Stenberg opted for minimal pieces of jewelry, fashioning a bracelet and little else. The actor did have a metallic look on Stenberg's nails, which added a pop of cool color to the muted ensemble.

While appearing on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Stenberg showed off some violin skills, playing an iconic selection from John Williams' "Star Wars" score alongside The Roots.

Stenberg opted for the method dressing route throughout "The Acolyte" press tour. The actor attended quite a few premiere and screening events for the latest series in the "Star Wars" saga. For the NYC screening of the series on June 4, Stenberg elevated the sheer dressing trend in a look courtesy of Dion Lee's fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

While attending the Los Angeles launch event for the "Star Wars" series last May, however, Stenberg elevated the method dressing approach.

Stenberg fashioned not one, but two looks for the Los Angeles launch event of "The Acolyte," featuring a muted, camel-hued look by Acne Studios and a futuristic, sultry dress with fabric draping from Oude Waag's fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

"The Acolyte" stars Stenberg in the latest "Star Wars" TV series, which follows a former Padawan and their Jedi master as they unravel the mystery behind a growing dark power in the galaxy. The series is available to stream on Disney+.
