WWE’S ROMAN REIGNS AND CM PUNK LAND MAJOR HOLLYWOOD ROLES

Roman Reigns and CM Punk will be working alongside each other in the upcoming animated film “Zootopia 2”. Paradigm agent Nick LoPiccolo revealed that both Reigns and Punk will voice zebras in the movie.

Their characters are described as cops in the film. Paradigm, which represents both talents, confirmed the casting.

The new Disney animated film is scheduled to be in theaters on November 26. This role adds to Reigns’ growing list of film credits, as he continues to build a career in Hollywood alongside his WWE tenure.

Reigns has previously been featured in “The Pickup”. He also has prior voice acting experience, having been featured in the animated films “Rumble” and “The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!”.

This new role is the latest in a series of major projects for Reigns. He is also set to star in the upcoming “Street Fighter” film.

For CM Punk, this marks his latest project outside of the ring as he continues his successful comeback to WWE. While the two are now co-stars in Hollywood, they have a complex history on WWE programming.

Reigns and Punk were famously on opposite sides of the dominant faction, The Shield, over a decade ago. Their careers took different paths, with Punk leaving the company for nearly ten years while Reigns rose to become the “Tribal Chief” and the company’s biggest star.

This film role will see them united, which mirrors their current on-screen alignment in WWE. The casting news comes as both men are heavily involved in “Raw’s” main event storyline.

Reigns has been off WWE TV since “WWE Crown Jewel.” At that event in Saudi Arabia, he suffered a surprising loss to Bronson Reed.

Despite that loss, Reigns remains a central figure in the company’s plans heading into “Survivor Series.” CM Punk is also in a high-profile spot following his return to the company.

He recently vied for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at “Saturday Night’s Main Event.” Punk won that match against Jey Uso.
