ROSE BYRNE IS LOVELY IN BEADED WHITE GOWN AT THE 2026 TONYS

Rose Byrne is a vision in white on her big night. The actor made her way down the red carpet at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall tonight for the 79th Annual Tony Awards while in a shimmery white Prada gown adorned with crystal beads all over, and featuring sparkly black ribbon details down the sides. Diamond earrings from Roberto Coin upped the glamour.

Longtime partner Bobby Cannavale walked the carpet with her while looking suave in a white tuxedo jacket, black trousers, and a black bowtie.

Byrne is a first-time Tony nominee, and at this year’s ceremony, she is up for the prize of Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her performance as the unhinged Jane in the 2026 revival of Fallen Angels. The remake of Noël Coward’s 1925 comedy opened in March at ⁠Todd Haimes Theatre and closed today. (Due to the popularity of the limited-run production, the play was streamed live for subscribers of BroadwayHD on June 5, and will be available to stream on demand through June 19.)

Tonight, she is up against Fallen Angels co-star Kelli O’Hara, Carrie Coon (Bug), Susannah Flood (Liberation), and Lesley Manville (Oedipus).

But no matter what happens, this year has already been a massive win for Byrne, who is now one of only 34 performers in history to score an Oscar nomination and a Tony nomination in the same calendar year. As fans know, the actor this year earned her first Academy Award nomination and won a Golden Globe for the indie film If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
